We had a super time at the Wilderness Gathering 2017

This was our second year at the Wilderness Gathering held in the stunning surroundings of the Bison Farm in West Knoyle.  The Gathering ran from Wednesday through to Sunday and we set up our base camp on Tuesday.  This meant we were ready for everyone who arrived that was camping for the duration.

Our friend and team member kindly loaned us the use of their yurt again this year.  This enabled us to have some home comforts whilst staying at the site, mainly a warm shelter and the frontier stove going all hours.  Perfect for tea/coffee and plenty of good cooking to keep us well fed and watered.  Thanks Gary 🙂

Great People

Our support team at the Wilderness Gathering really stepped up to the mark again this year.  Massive thanks to our fantastic team of Guy the Bushcraft Guy, Jimmy, Gary and Jess who helped throughout the event.   We also met some great people who visited our stand and came to our courses.  We ran courses every day on cordage and fire lighting.  These were well attended and we had really positive feed back.  The kids and adults alike enjoyed making string from stinging nettles and cordage.
